Lee Yuan-tseh said: If the KMT recaptures the presidency, Taiwan will find itself trapped in a "dangerously imbalanced state." He said he "had expectations of Frank Hsieh."

The educational reforms masterminded by Lee toppled the notion of "Education Above All." They created high school-based universities. They eradicated magnet schools. They dramatically inflated the number of universities on Taiwan from just over 20 to over 160.

Taiwan now has the highest rate of university admissions in the world. Educational reform has created countless problems, but Lee has never told us how he intends to solve any of these problems. He has never apologized for his mistakes.

In 2004, Lin I-hsiung and Lee Yuan-tseh co-sponsored a constitutional amendment halving the number of legislators and changing the electoral system to the "single-member district, two ballot system."

The implementation of this system during the recent legislative elections led not only to a crushing defeat for the Democratic Progressive Party, but to the utter annihilation of smaller political parties.

Lee's meddling had grave repercussions for the Republic of China's political development. But Lee has never apologized to the Chinese people.

In 2000, Lee Yuan-tseh convened a group of political consultants who publicly endorsed Chen Shui-bian. This was a key factor in Chen's victory.

Today, Lee admits that Chen is far from an ideal leader, that he left the government in ruins, and that he is implicated in countless corruption cases. But Lee still insists he was right to endorse Chen.

After Lee's string of fiascoes, people cannot help wonder: Does Lee have any sense of responsibility? After so many mistakes, does Lee really intend to shirk all responsibility? Does he really feel no guilt whatsoever?

From Lee's words and deeds, we can see the psychological nature of "Taiwanese consciousness," and how it sanctioned DPP misrule.

As long as the DPP professes its "love for Taiwan," and uses its "concern for Taiwanese interests" as an excuse, everything they do is legitimate. Nothing they do is their responsibility.

Lee received the Nobel Prize for Chemistry. Driven by "Taiwanese consciousness," he has meddled in affairs about which he knows nothing. He has betrayed Taiwan society. He has contributed to Taiwan's decline.

Lee sees the society he loves undergoing rapid decline. What he doesn't see, is that his ideological bigotry was a key factor in that decline. That someone of Lee's caliber would seek refuge in "Taiwanese consciousness" this late in the day -- that is Lee Yuan-tseh's greatest tragedy.

李遠哲主導的教改，打倒升學主義，廣設高中大學，消滅明星高中，大學由二十餘所暴增至一百六十餘所。

現在台灣的大學錄取率已高居世界第一位，教改所造成的後遺症大量湧現，但李遠哲卻始終沒有告訴大家該如何解決這些問題，也沒有跟大家道歉。

2004年，林義雄和李遠哲聯合發起立委減半的修案，將立委選制改為「單一選區兩票制」。

最近立委選舉實踐這套制度的結果，不僅使民進黨遭到慘敗，而且讓小黨全軍覆沒，台灣的民主發展受到深遠的影響，但李遠哲也沒有向國人道歉。

2000 年，李遠哲組國政顧問團，公開挺扁，是陳水扁當選總統的重要因素之一，時至今日，李遠哲承認，扁不是理想的總統荒廢政權，出了許多金錢醜聞，但仍然堅持並不後悔當年挺扁。

這一連串事例，不禁讓人懷疑：李遠哲到底有沒有「責任」觀念？弄出這麼多紕漏，他為什麼還能把自己的責任推得乾乾淨淨，毫無愧疚之意？

從李遠哲的言行中，我們可以很清楚的看出：「台灣意識」是民進黨眾多執政亂象的心理基礎。

只要拿出「愛台灣」、「台灣人的利益」作為藉口，任何作為都具有了正當性，任何過錯也都不必負責。

李遠哲獲得了諾貝爾化學獎，在「台灣意識」驅使下，他涉入了太多自己不懂的事務，讓整個台灣社會往下沉淪。

看到自己摯愛的社會日趨沉淪，卻看不出自己的意識型形就是造成問題的罪魁禍首，還想用「台灣意識」來救台灣，這才是李遠哲的最大悲劇。

The 319 Shooting Incident - A Wag the Dog "Assassination Attempt" staged by Chen Shui-bian as a superficially plausible pretext for massive election fraud

Frank Hsieh and the Democratic Progressive Party are set to lose big in the upcoming January 12, 2008 Republic of China Legislative Elections, and the March 22, 2008 Presidential Election.

Not that very lame duck "President" Chen Shui-bian gives a damn. Chen only gives a damn about the looming debacle to the extent that it affects him.

Republic of China kleptocrat Chen Shui-bian has committed so many crimes during his eight years in the Presidential Palace, he is terrified he will end up like former Republic of Korean kleptocrats Chun Doo Hwan and Roh Tae Woo.

As a result, he is desperately seeking ways to either:

1. remain in office indefinitely by provoking an incident within the island that would justify declaring martial law and naming himself "President for Life"

2. extort a promise of political asylum from the US by threatening to precipitate a military confrontation in the Taiwan Strait with Beijing

3. rig the election so that DPP presidential candidate Frank Hsieh "wins" and becomes president, then pardons Chen as a quid pro quo

In the event Chen chooses the third option, he will attempt to commit massive election fraud, even more extreme than the election fraud he committed in 2004, when he did away with roughly a million Lien Chan ballots, then declared himself the winner.

A: Because the New Party is one of the cleanest political parties in the world. Other parties on Taiwan are tainted by links to "Black Gold" criminal and special interests. Not the New Party.

A: 因為新黨是最乾淨、最清廉的政黨。別的政黨，藏污納垢，與黑金掛勾。

Q: Why should you vote for the New Party?
A: Because the New Party has the best qualified legislators. The New Party, although small, has the highest percentage of highly qualified professionals, all experts in their own fields.
Q: 為什麼政黨票要投新黨？
A: 因為新黨的立委是最優質的立委。新黨雖小，優質立委的比例最高。

Q: Why should you vote for the New Party?
A: Because the New Party opposes Taiwan independence. Other parties pay lip service to the Republic of China to win votes, but secretly collude with Taiwan independence for their own selfish interest.

A: Because the New Party defends the territorial integrity of the Republic of China. When other political parties refer to the "Republic of China," they mean Taiwan. When the New Party refers to the "Republic of China," it means all of China. Not just Taiwan, Penghu, Kinmen and Matsu, but the Chinese mainland as well.

A: 因為新黨捍衛中華民國的領土完整。當其他政黨說 "中華民國" 的時候，他們指的只是台灣。當新黨說， "中華民國" 他們指的是對全中國。不只是台灣，澎湖，金門，馬祖，也是中國大陸。

Q: Why should you vote for the New Party?
A: Because the New Party is unwavering in its defense of the Republic of China. Other parties sit on the fence and bend with the political winds. One KMT campaign flier mentions "Taiwan" 55 times, but the "Republic of China" only twice. The name "Republic of China" is buried within the text, in fine print. If the New Party receives 30% of the party vote, other parties will begin shouting "Long live the Republic of China!" If the New Party receives only 3% of the party vote, other parties will begin shouting "Long live Taiwan!" and the "Republic of China" will forever vanish from Taiwan's political scene. A vote for the New Party is a vote for the Republic of China.

A: 因為新黨一路走來始終如一，堅定的捍衛中華民國。別的政黨，搖搖擺擺，見風轉舵、牆頭草。 全台灣都在看。國民黨的競選傳單中提到"台灣"55次，而只提 "中華民國"兩次，而且用小字，埋在文章中。如果新黨獲得 30 ％的政黨票，其他政黨將開始高呼 "中華民國萬歲！" 如果新黨獲得百分之三的黨票，其他政黨都會開始高呼 "台灣萬歲！" 而 "中華民國" 將永遠從台灣的政治舞台上消失。投新黨一票就是投中華民國一票！

A: Because New Party legislators can help the KMT fight the DPP. Because the New Party will strengthen the Pan Blue alliance. Other political parties will undermine Ma Ying-jeou. When critical votes are cast in the legislature, legislators from other parties will defect in their own selfish interest. Not the New Party.

A: 因為新黨可以幫助國民黨，對抗民進黨，讓泛藍更健康。別的政黨，只會扯馬英九的後腿，為自己利益跑票。

Q: Why should you vote for the New Party?
A: Because the New Party is honorable. For the sake of Pan Blue unity, the New Party has asked voters to support KMT legislators on the district ballot. The New Party is asking voters to vote for the New Party only on the party ballot. The KMT on the other hand is asking voters not to support the New Party at all! Not content to chew on the New Party's flesh, the KMT wants to suck the marrow from its bones.
Q: 為什麼政黨票要投新黨？
A: 因為新黨是很正派、很厚道的政黨，到處拜託選民，立委支持國民黨，政黨票投新黨。而國民黨卻到處告訴選民，立委支持國民黨，政黨票不要投新黨，吃肉不吐骨頭。

Q: Why should you vote for the New Party?
A: Because the New Party is farsighted. The New Party was the first to oppose Chen Shui-bian's phony referendum. The New Party helped the KMT see the light, and urge voters to boycott the referendum. The New Party can help the KMT do the right thing.

A: 因為新黨有遠見。新黨是第一個反對陳水扁的假公投。新黨幫助國民黨醒過來，幫助國民黨呼籲選民抵制公投。新黨可以幫助國民黨做正確的事。
